Giovanni a carbonara is an original etching on paper, realized by antonio fornari. At the top left margin the printed inscription: "italia"; top center: "napoli"; top right: "tav. Xiv"; bottom center: "s. Giovanni a carbonara"; bottom right: "a. Fornari inc.". This original print was a part of the print suite "principali vedute di napoli antica e moderna" of naples views, engraved by the italian master antonio fornari. White cardboard passepartout, cm 34 x 49. In excellent condition, full margins, demonstrating a full mastery of the graphic technique. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
