Vintage oil on canvas Spanish impressionist painting of a flamenco or gypsy dancer, signed upper right C.H. Kletzker, c.1930’s.
It depicts a dancer in a flowing vibrant red dress with a guitarist in the background, and in a molded wood frame. Good overall condition with some crackling in the yellow/green areas as seen in the pics. Old Berkeley gallery framing label on back.
Charles Harry Kletzker was born in Missouri in 1884. In 1903 he moved to Oakland, CA, where he opened an art studio. He died in 1959.
