The design predates the founding of Forma and illustrates Hauner’s pioneering exploration of lightness, industrial materials, and refined proportions.

The chairs are defined by their slender metal legs, which create a subtle floating effect that was emblematic of postwar modern design in Brazil. This visual lightness is paired with newly upholstered seats in a richly textured, multi-tonal woven upholstery in off-white with black flecking, using bouclé yarns to create visual depth and a tactile, architectural surface.

Recently restored and in excellent condition, the chairs are documented in vintage publications that attest to their historical significance. Elegant, understated, and forward-thinking, this set captures a formative moment in Brazilian Modernism when design innovation and craftsmanship moved decisively toward a new aesthetic language.
