Though best known for his architectural work, Levi’s furniture designs demonstrate the same sensitivity to material and measured geometry.

The chairs are crafted in caviúna hardwood, whose warm tone and expressive grain give visual depth to the otherwise restrained composition. Each frame is defined by slender tapered legs and a ladder-style backrest composed of four horizontal rails, creating a rhythmic linear structure that emphasizes both lightness and stability.

Seats have been newly upholstered in beige leather, introducing a soft tonal contrast to the darker wood while maintaining the design’s understated character. The wood has been professionally refinished, revealing the natural richness of the caviúna.

The set remains in excellent vintage condition, representing a refined example of mid-century Brazilian seating, where architectural logic and material integrity are brought into careful balance. See less
