The piece is crafted from Brazilian rosewood (jacarandá), whose deep tone and expressive grain give the cabinet a strong visual presence while maintaining the restrained elegance characteristic of Zalszupin’s work.

The composition is organized around a balanced storage system: three drawers on each side flank a central compartment with a lift-up, chest-like opening. The drawers are notably deep and generously proportioned, integrating substantial storage into the clean architectural volume of the cabinet. Subtle metal pulls provide a restrained contrast to the warmth of the rosewood while reinforcing the piece’s modernist clarity.

The wood has been professionally refinished, revealing the dramatic figure of the jacarandá and preserving its material integrity. The original manufacturer’s label remains visible on the back, confirming its production.
