The composition is defined by a rectilinear top resting on a trestle base of substantial horizontal and vertical members. Broad plank supports anchor the table at either end, joined by a central stretcher that articulates the load-bearing logic of the structure. A circular cut-out within the stretcher introduces a measured sculptural gesture—an intentional interruption that relieves the density of the wood while reinforcing balance and symmetry.
