This is a vintage crystal glass serving bowl in the iconic "Carmen" pattern by Mikasa, manufactured by Walther Glas in West Germany during the 1980s. The bowl is crafted from thick, heavy clear crystal glass and features a richly embossed all-over design of roses, ribbon bows, floral swags, and leafy vines encircling the interior and exterior, with a decorative floral medallion at the center base and a gently scalloped ruffled rim. The three-dimensional relief design catches the light beautifully from every angle. Originally used as a fruit bowl, salad bowl, or elegant table centerpiece, it also makes a stunning decorative display piece today. Walther Glas was a prestigious West German glassmaker that produced high-quality pressed and molded crystal for Mikasa's upscale home collections - pieces that have become sought-after vintage finds for their craftsmanship and romantic floral style.
