Vintage burl walnut extendable dining table by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, c.1970’s
This dining table has a striking book matched grain throughout. This includes both of the two leaves. Having a rectangular top and standing on triangular shaped legs. The two additional leaves fit snugly together to fully extend the table to 102”. Each leaf is 18” wide. The mechanism to open and close the table together on the underside works smoothly. Well constructed throughout. A simple yet elegant form, designed by Edward Wormley, and manufactured by Dunbar. There is a metal Dunbar badge on the underside as well as an original paper label, dated 1971. Good original condition with some wear to the leg edges, but are smooth to the touch.
