Antique English oak mule chest, c.1800
It has a molded rectangular top which opens up to a large storage area with a candle box to the top right. The front has four paneled shields with an ebonized trim. The lower section has a combination of two long and three short drawers. Original brass hardware throughout. The sides have decorative geometric panels. Standing on block feet joined by a curved apron. Good overall condition and recently waxed and polished.
