Here is a beautifully carved vintage oak sideboard, likely dating to the 1920s–1930s, featuring rich Art Deco detailing and a warm honey-toned finish with a beautifully pronounced natural grain. The craftsmanship is what immediately stands out - from the arched cabinet doors to the carved floral and foliate motifs, every surface, even the wonderfully carved feet, has been thoughtfully designed. The drawers feature integrated carved wood pulls, while the cabinet doors are fitted with sculptural carved handles, giving the piece a cohesive, fully realized look.
There are three upper drawers, with the center drawer lined in green felt and fitted with interior dividers - perfect for flatware or bar tools. Below, generous storage is concealed behind three cabinet doors, each opening to wood shelves that can be removed, though they are not adjustable.
One of the most versatile features is the removable gallery top. With the top in place, the piece takes on a more architectural, almost server-style presence, allowing you to style objects above while adding height and visual interest. Removed, it becomes a classic low sideboard with a cleaner profile, making it easy to adapt to different spaces and styles.
At over 60 inches wide, this is a substantial piece with real presence and design, ideal for a dining room, entry, or living space.

Structurally excellent and sturdy. The original locking mechanisms are present; however, they appear to be stuck. Two original skeleton keys are included. There are surface scratches to the top, along with some loss of the original sealer/finish to the gallery area, where light bubbling is visible in places. The felt-lined center drawer shows expected age and wear. Light wear is present throughout, including minor surface scratches consistent with age and use. Some notable scratches to the top section - see photos. When the removable gallery top is taken off, small holes from the dowel supports are visible on the top surface. Overall, the piece remains in very good condition and presents beautifully. less
