The substantial rectangular frame with softly rounded corners features a richly carved surround, adorned with applied floral and foliate reliefs at the corners and along the rails. The sculptural decoration adds depth and movement, while the broad molded profile retains a warm, luminous gold finish with a beautifully aged patina.
The mirror retains a later replaced glass plate, offering a clear reflection while preserving the integrity of the original frame.
