These were originally retailed in Heal’s in the 1960’s, the quality is absolutely amazing. This has an absolutely gorgeous design and lots of amazing features. There are lovely copper mounts that support the back, this sits on fabulous tapered legs and has very useful table tops built in to the arm rests. There is a clever mechanism to extend the armrests outwards and also to tilt the back rest to increase the sleeping area when used as a guest bed.

We have had the frame stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, this has also been completely re-upholstered in a gorgeous cream boucle fabric. The condition is excellent for its age.
