Solid pine slatted screen, Baumann style, circa 1950s.
The screen is made of tightly fitted slats mounted on a flexible support, allowing it to be folded or rolled up completely. The top edge features a regular wavy cut, a characteristic of the Baumann style of the 1950s. The wood, a warm orange to honey brown hue, has a glossy varnish that accentuates the grain and natural knots of the pine. The screen shows scratches and signs of wear consistent with several decades of use, without any major structural damage. Cleaning is recommended. Overall condition is good. Dimensions: H. 182 cm.
