Rare & Original Antique Candle Box for your consideration. The box measures approx. 7 1/4 inches long, 3 5/8 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches deep. American, Southern, late 18th to early 19th Century. Candle, tobacco or spice box. Walnut. Dovetail construction. Chamfered sliding lid with carved finger notch. Decorative plinth base. Very good antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays attractively primitive!
