A fascinating Space Age lamp made of chrome-plated metal and hand-blown glass, originating from Germany and manufactured in the 1950s–60s.
This high-quality European lamp features a polished chrome-plated steel base that accentuates its aerodynamic silhouette.
It features a stunning hand-blown glass shade with an organic “cord” or ribbon detail in amber/honey color that wraps around the transparent body, creating a relief effect and a unique warmth when lit.
The ring-shaped top finial is not only aesthetically pleasing but also evokes classic lantern designs reinterpreted for the modern era.
Original wiring has been checked and is in working order. Includes a classic pull-chain switch.
Shows signs of use typical of its age, which enhance its incredible patina.
