The elephant bank measures approx. 4 1/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches tall. American, Freeport, Illinois. First half 20th Century. Cast iron, remnant of gold paint. Elephant with tucked trunk. Slotted screw holding two castings together securily. Very good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. See photos.
