The framed picture measures approx. 9 3/4 inches X 12 3/4 inches and approx. 5/8 of an inch thick. American, First half 20th Century. Embroidery depicts silk silhouette of woman sitting at desk with terrier dog setting next to her. Pink silk detail to her dress, lavender flowers and yellow draped window and oval framed silhouette portrait on wall. Original black painted wood frame. Embroidery is under glass with old cardboard backing. Wire on back as well for hanging on wall. Good vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age.
