This is a very high quality object with expertly fitted brass caps and nails that would impress any farrier. Similar examples were on display at Hermes in Paris. Stool has a deep red stain with nice patina and is highlighted with gilt painting. Large size - measures 17" x 13". Covered with brown wool - would be easy to change the fabric if you wish. Excellent condition consistent with age. See less
