This impressive hand-thrown vessel showcases the Mehrs’ distinctive aesthetic, combining warm matte terracotta with expressive cobalt blue flowing glaze. According to the original artist brochure accompanying this vessel, the Mehrs created hand-thrown, high-fired ceramics in Oak Run, Shasta County, California, drawing inspiration from world travel and the natural beauty surrounding their mountain studio.
