A beautifully crafted authentic Antique Chinese Kang table in solid Northern Elm (Yumu), dating to the late Qing Dynasty. Built entirely with traditional nail-free mortise-and-tenon joinery, the underside displays pristine, hand-shaped square tenons.
Design Details
The Silhouette: Features classic gently concave, everted "winged" ends historically designed on these low tables to keep calligraphy scrolls from rolling off the edge.
The Patina: A gorgeous, deep wax-rubbed golden-brown finish that accentuates the flowing, prominent elm wood grain, showing historic tool marks and authentic age.
Modern Versatility
