A very rare set of 6 Chinese Chippendale vintage stained solid wood dining room arm chairs.
The chairs are a wonderful very rare set of solid wood, extremely old Fretwork Chippendale arm chairs. I believe the chairs are made of mahogany wood. The chairs are beautiful with a geometric fretwork back and sides. I gave the wood a refresh with matching stain so they look oh so pretty. The upholstery was in tact so I left it alone so you can choose a fabric of your choice. This is a wonderful set for a dining room or covered lanai for a Palm Beach Regency tropical design.

- The chairs are in extremely good condition. The stained color was recently refreshed to give them a nice clean finish. … moreThe chairs are in extremely good condition. The stained color was recently refreshed to give them a nice clean finish. There were a few hairline fissures on 3 of the arched detail wood underneath the sides of the chairs. I had them professionally repaired. This did not cause any structural issues. The upholstery is original and in good condition. The seats sit on the chairs without screws. The seats can be screwed in if desired. The chairs are from the 60's maybe early 70's. They had large flat nailhead screws on the underside of the seats with an odd type of "L" clamp which was holding the seat in place. They have since been removed. The chairs are not 100% perfect, however they are in extremely good condition now. less
