The figure’s raised hand and missing attribute suggest she may have represented an allegorical virtue or classical personification, a common theme in Baroque decorative sculpture.

Carved from a single block of wood with visible tool marks, flowing drapery, and remnants of original gilding, the piece shows the hallmarks of Baroque craftsmanship. The surface has developed a rich, time‑worn patina.
