All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. Emily is a series of gorgeous lamps with shades handcrafted from sheet steel. Finished in semi-matte, high gloss, brass, or a naturally weathered oxid version, she comes as single pendants (emily i and ii) or chandeliers with up to 13 shades—perfect above a dining area. A vertical option with up to 10 shades suits hallway settings. Each shade is shaped using century-old metalworking techniques once used in the car industry. Cut, bent, formed, welded, and sanded by hand, the process creates organic, sculptural forms. Emily’s design is inspired by andreas gursky’s james bond islands series, where digitally arranged thai islands appear to float—revealing only the peaks of hidden mountains. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
