The lines are clean and calm, yet the refinement lies in the details. The slightly curved armrests flow elegantly into the frame, lending the whole a natural softness. The warm teak wood forms a beautiful contrast with the deep black of the leather. The shell is upholstered all around and features original tufted buttons on both the back and seat. This not only gives the chair a subtle luxurious appearance but also ensures comfortable seating. The proportions are well-balanced: low, open, and inviting without appearing heavy. The chair has been carefully restored in our workshop. The leather has been thoroughly cleaned and re-nourished with a high-quality leather wax, giving it a supple feel once again and a beautiful, understated sheen. The woodwork has been stripped of old finishes, sanded by hand, and finished with a matte oil that brings the warm color of the teak wood back to life. As a result, the armchair is in very neat condition and is ready for immediate use. A characterful piece that blends effortlessly into a calm interior, yet is also strong enough to hold its own.
