An iconic Danish lamp, this superb version in black porcelain and brass dates from the 1950s. with its elegant, sculptural base, it's an easy-to-integrate light fixture. Both discreet and precious, this large Scandinavian desk lamp is striking and inviting. Its pleated shade echoes the cut lines of the porcelain and diffuses a cozy, hygge-like light. The combination of glazed black porcelain and brass lends a precious and timeless Art Deco feel.
This vintage lamp was sourced from Denmark. It dates from the 1950s. The base is made of black glazed porcelain with gilt brass details. It shows slight signs of wear, such as minor oxidation on the brass. The shade is made of pleated white paper, a typical Danish design, and is perfectly fitted to the base. The lamp is in superb condition. It has a push-button switch on the base.
