The piece retains its original white marble top surface — a sophisticated detail that elevates it well above ordinary miniature work.
Four fully functional drawers with turned wooden pulls. The top two drawers open conventionally; the lower two slide independently — a construction refinement that speaks to the care taken by its maker. The warm natural finish has aged beautifully, developing the patina expected of a piece of this age and provenance.
