In richly patinated teak, with carved door panels below painted on glass representations of Hindu deities, Ganesha and Hanuman. In spiritual teachings, Hanuman symbolizes the strength of the human spirit when guided by humility and faith, and is the Protector. Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, is traditionally worshiped before starting anything important. The marquetry or inlay work brings a lighter decoration and shows the quality and importance of this armoire.
