This hammered copper jardinere or cache pot hails from the early 20th century and has that soft patina that only age can create. The aged copper offers old world charm to any setting.
The round hand hammered body has soldered seams ( one side and the bottom) and sits on 3 brass lions paw feet. There are 2 riveted brass handles in the forms of rams heads or “Bacchus Style”.
The opening is 8”w and 7.5”d so the piece can accommodate a fairly large plant or floral arrangement.
Perfect in a garden room or near a fireplace.
