Produced in Sweden in the 1960s.

A slender brass stem descends from the ceiling canopy to a sculpted double-cone teak spindle at the center of the fixture. Five straight brass arms radiate outward in perfect symmetry, each terminating in a turned teak ferrule that holds a cylindrical pressed-crystal shade. The heavy crystal is finished in a dense diamond-point texture that refracts light into a soft sparkling pattern across the ceiling and walls when illuminated.

The pairing of teak with heavy pressed crystal is less common than the all-brass chandeliers typical of the period. The balance of warm wood, polished metal, and cool crystal suits a dining table, entryway, or living room with period or contemporary furnishings. See less
