A stunning set of dining or side chairs by British luxury furniture designer Christopher Guy featuring red velvet oval shaped backs and contrasting shiny black seats. The frame and legs are hand carved and finished with an ornate crackled gold finish. The cabriole legs are characteristic of 18th-century French furniture and lends these chairs a very classic and elegant air. A very special set of chairs for that sophisticated and stylish home!

Condition: good structurally sound and sturdy condition. The red velvet backs are in excellent condition while the black shiny seats have a few small scuffs and tears which would benefit from a reupholstering at some time. There is a small chip to the wood on the back of the chair that is not very noticeable at all.
