This elegant Louis XVI-inspired flat desk features clean lines and a classic structure that integrates seamlessly into both modern and traditional interiors.
Made of oak and walnut veneer, it rests on four tapered, fluted legs, characteristic of the neoclassical style.
The top is adorned with an Empire green leather blotter, decorated with a gilt tooled border and a central diamond motif. The desk has two drawers in the frieze, each with its own key and working lock. Pull-out side shelves (drawers) extend the work surface, a typical feature of quality desks from the last century.
• Condition: Very good vintage condition. The wood has a beautiful patina. A few very light signs of wear on the leather add to its authenticity.
• Details: Keys included, drawers slide perfectly, pull-out shelves are functional.
