A rich color serigraph titled “White Tigers, 1996”, by Jiang Tiefeng, a Chinese artist b.1938. Two white tigers walk shoulder to shoulder on a background of red ochre, with foliage and bold spots of color in blue, green, yellow and red. Signed in the lower right corner and set in a resin cast.
Tiefeng describes his paintings as “Not only pictures; they are also music and poetry that is bewitching, sweet dreams that are being dreamed”. His artwork has been exhibited in major museums around the world, and can be found in some of the most prestigious public and private collections worldwide.
