This beautiful 18th century armoire cabinet is built of solid elm using traditional Chinese joinery of tenon and mortise. This gorgeous Chinese Chinoiserie piece was retrieved from Shanxi Province and features a typical square-corner construction with a rich, weathered red finish. The entire front is adorned with hand-painted images of lively landscapes, figures, and auspicious objects. The interior is fitted with 3 shelves for organized storage behind the double doors. This cabinet will be an excellent showpiece in a living room or family room, functioning perfectly as a unique dry bar or media cabinet.
