A charming antique French wall mirror featuring turned faux bamboo frame in richly honey patinated fruitwood. The sculptural joinery mimics natural bamboo, a hallmark of the Aesthetic Movement.

- Lovely, honest, warm honey toned patina throughout. The mirror is structurally sound and free of chips/breaks/repairs. It retains its original … moreLovely, honest, warm honey toned patina throughout. The mirror is structurally sound and free of chips/breaks/repairs. It retains its original hanging chain and mirror plate, the glass showing age-related silvering, spotting and marks (see last 2 photos for details). There is minor surface wear to the wood frame. On the back, there is a center piece of wood reinforcing early secondary backing which is typical with all of these mirrors.
