Hand-carved from solid, seasoned Teak, these antique Seeders were originally used as funnels for planting grain in Northern India. They are distinguished by their unique flared architectural silhouette and the inclusion of dual integrated handles on each side.

The significance of these pieces lies in the hand-incised tribal geometric motifs that adorn the flared bodies, representing the folk-art heritage of the rural farming communities. The timber has been preserved in its natural, honey-toned state, showcasing an honest "earned patina" with decades of agricultural wear. We have repurposed these high-altitude tools as horizontal candle holders, where the original seed-distribution holes now serve as a unique base for pillar candles.
