They're made of … Read more Vintage set of four 'cracked ice' back style armchairs originally designed by Elinor McGuire in the 1960's. They're made of rattan with the signature oval back made of smaller cane members to create the illusion of cracked ice. They feature rawhide wrapped joinery and have a whitewash finish. Each has a new upholstered seat in a navy woven cotton fabric. This set was acquired from a Palm Beach estate. Two chairs maintain a label 'Fort Smith Chair Co Arkansas.'
