Hand-carved from a single block of dense, centuries-old Teak, this piece originally served as a structural corbel or decorative lintel within a traditional northern Indian manor. The carvings feature deep, rhythmic "serrated" or "cog" motifs, characteristic of the Rajasthani architectural vernacular, which create a beautiful interplay of light and shadow when illuminated.

The timber has been preserved in its original, dark-oxidized state, showcasing a century of "earned patina" including natural wood checking, weathered grain, and the irregular marks of hand-tooling. We have integrated a hand-forged iron candle spike into the center, allowing it to hold a large pillar candle securely.
