The center of the dish is painted with an octagonal ring inside this ring a motif of scattered peonies, chrysanthemums, lotus flowers, and around the rim are stylized peonies. The dish is marked with the six-character Chenghua mark (成化大明年制) (1465-1487) in underglaze blue, enclosed in double circles, made in the Kangxi period (1662-1722). Dated ca 1700-1720. The dish is diagonal 35 cm and height 6.5 cm. Firing frittings are visible on the rim of the dish and some scratches in the paint (pictures) The dish is almost 2 kilos See less
