condition – very good, minor signs of age mainly on the tabletop
The table’s subtle, harmonious form is based on a softly rounded top and distinctive carved legs, which give it the expressiveness and elegance typical of Danish design from the 1960s. It’s a piece that draws attention with its details while remaining light and calm in appearance—perfectly balancing function and aesthetics.
The table was designed by Henning Kjærnulf, a respected representative of Scandinavian modernism, known for his love of decorative detail and masterful craftsmanship in wood. His designs often stand out thanks to sculpted elements that give furniture a unique character. Made from solid oak, the table impresses with its natural grain and warm, honey-toned color. Oak is an exceptionally durable material, resistant to everyday use and aging beautifully over time. The piece is solid, stable, and carefully finished in every detail—an example of high-quality craftsmanship.
The table comes with three extension leaves, ensuring excellent functionality. In its standard version, it comfortably seats around 6–8 people, while when fully extended (up to 310 cm), it becomes an ideal table for larger gatherings, accommodating even 12–14 people.
It will fit perfectly into interiors in Scandinavian, Japandi, or modern classic styles—anywhere that values natural materials, light, and timeless elegance with a touch of character. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
