Dutch Silver Seahorse Wine Bottle Cork Stopper with Pouring Spout A Dutch silver pouring cork stopper in the shape of … Read more Dutch Silver Seahorse Wine Bottle Cork Stopper with Pouring Spout A Dutch silver pouring cork stopper in the shape of a seahorse, and quite large. It measures 15 cm in total, but when the cork is on the bottle, it is 13 cm from head to tail and 9.5 cm high from head to bottle. On the rim above the cork, there is a scene on both sides featuring another two fish. A graceful and elegant, but above all an eye-catcher for the table on a delicious bottle of wine. The Seahorse is marked on the fin with the Dutch silver hallmark "Sword". This hallmark was used between 1906 and 1953. The name of the silversmith is J. Fortgens, Haarlem, and this hallmark was used between 1949 and 1953 (see pictures). The total weight is 86 grams. See less
