Crafted in teak, this elegant piece … Read more Exceptional UM14 highboard designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik, Denmark, in the 1960s. Crafted in teak, this elegant piece showcases Andersen’s signature details, including the sculptural solid teak base and beautifully hand-carved handles with flowing fin-shaped forms. The upper section features sliding doors opening to adjustable shelving, a mirrored bar compartment with a pull-out mixing shelf, and additional storage with felt-lined drawers and an adjustable shelf. The lower section offers six drawers, including four shallow and two deep drawers, all with solid hardwood interiors and newly felt-lined compartments. This piece comes from a private home where it has remained throughout its entire lifetime and has been exceptionally well cared for. It is remarkably well preserved and presented in near-perfect condition. A refined and highly functional example of Danish mid-century craftsmanship. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
