Originally stained and later stripped by our staff, the frames now reveal the natural beauty and texture of the wood with a lighter, more relaxed finish that still honors the age and character of the chairs. The upholstery is original to the set and displays a foliate design in soft tones of rose, green, and cream. It remains in serviceable condition, though re-upholstery may eventually be desired.
Rich in character and decorative presence, these chairs bring together sculptural form, craftsmanship, and the distinctive personality of Renaissance Revival style.
