A 1950-60's sophisticated set of five vintage wine goblets crafted by the renowned silver house "Industria Mexicana de Plata, S.A." These pieces exemplify the Spanish Colonial Revival aesthetic that defined the golden age of Mexican silver craftsmanship, which is now in resurgence. Each goblet has a flared tulip shape supported by a beautifully detailed tiered stem. The heavy weight of the goblets make them perfect for formal entertaining or a decorative tablescape.
Each goblet is clearly hallmarked "IND. MEX. DE PLATA SA," for the design house Industria Mexicana de Plata, S.A., and includes the pattern number 459 along with the factory benchmark no. 7 identifying the specific craftsman who finished the pieces. "Plateado" stamped on the base confirms the high quality of the silver plate used by registered silversmiths of Mexico.
