Oil painting of an English fox hunting scene influenced by having lived in Hatfield Forest, England, and works by John Herring. Horses, riders and English foxhounds on the chase. Painting is on Okoume board (similar to Mahogany) by Satori Gregorakis. Signed in the lower left corner. Framed.
Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-)
Satori is dedicated to the pursuit of beauty through the exploration and development of new ideas. His work is deeply influenced by the challenges of painting within the tradition of the old masters, shaped by his experience as an art restorer.
