"The Mehrangarh Sideboard" is a De-cor exclusive, designed to bridge the gap between the majestic architectural history of Rajasthan and the clean, functional lines of Mid-Century Modernism. This expansive 88-inch credenza features five hand-carved Jali doors, each meticulously pierced with a traditional floral lattice motif inspired by the iconic stone screens of the Mehrangarh Fort. Handcrafted from solid reclaimed wood, the sideboard is finished in a signature sun-bleached tone, which highlights the natural, raw grain of the timber and provides a soft, matte "wabi-sabi" texture. The see-through Jali doors provide a sense of airy lightness despite the piece's substantial footprint, while the minimalist metal hardware and tapered MCM-style legs offer a sophisticated contemporary edge. Inside, a continuous single shelf provides ample storage, making this a perfect anchor for a grand dining room or an oversized media console in a coastal or Japandi-inspired living space.
As a handcrafted artisanal piece utilizing reclaimed materials, "The Mehrangarh Sideboard" is presented in Good Condition. Due to its handmade nature and the use of repurposed timber, the piece may display minor natural imperfections, such as subtle wood grain variations, chips, cracks and softened carving edges, which are essential to its unique character and provenance.
