An impressinve and rare grand-scale pair of vintage Chinoiserie table lamps, stading at a commanding 34" tall. These Mid-Century masterpieces are crafted in brilliant Blanc de Chine porcelain with a sophisticated faux-bamboo column form.
The standout feature is the exquisite "floral icing", (moriage) relieft, depicting blooming dogwood branches that wrap around the porcelain body in a high-sculptural relief. Sitting atop elegant square pedestal bases, these lamps epitomize the Hollywood Regency aesthetic of the 1960's.
Equipped with high-quality vintage Leviton hardware (UL 47983), these lamps are as well-made aws they are beautiful. Their height and monochromatic white finish make them a powerful statement pair for a large buffet, console or formal living room.
Excellent vintage condition. The porcelain is pristine with no chips, cracks or repairs to the delicate floral appliques. The metal hadware shows a light age-appropriate patina. Original wiring is tested and functional.
