A hinged lid functions as a flat, solid surface like a console which conceals the very patinated cutting surface undeath. The work area includes a thick end-grain chopping block next to a shallow trough to the right side. Massive steel brackets brace the mass, and the table’s apron is finished with a small drawer for convenient storage. Thick, square legs support a shelf just above the floor to complete the handy features within a compact design. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for your interior. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition as the lower shelf has a large patch of dark stain and there is splitting of the chopping block.
