Crafted in solid walnut, the chairs feature elegant oval backs framed by a continuous molded surround, accented with a carved ribbon-and-twist motif. The shaped seat rails are centered by carved rosette blocks at each corner, leading into fluted, tapered legs with turned feet - a composition rooted in classical Louis XVI design. The chairs have been structurally revised and polished in our workshop, ensuring stability and readiness for daily use while preserving their original character. Newly upholstered in a blue and ivory striped linen fabric, offering a clean, tailored contrast to the warmth of the walnut frames. The contrast between the warm walnut tones and the crisp linear upholstery introduces a more relaxed, coastal sensibility, allowing the set to transition easily between formal and casual interiors.
