Decorate a wall, entry vignette, or layered gallery arrangement with this charming antique mirror, crafted in France circa 1920. The petite rectangular looking glass is set within a finely turned walnut frame carved in imitation of bamboo, a motif that reflects the enduring influence of exotic-inspired design in early 20th century French interiors.
The frame features pegged construction and is accented at each corner with distinctive arrow-form finials, giving the piece a sculptural, almost architectural quality despite its compact scale. The warm and rich walnut patina enhances the natural grain and adds depth and character.
The original mirror plate shows light age-appropriate foxing consistent with its age. The piece retains its back support with wire for easy wall hanging.
