We are selling this very fine American portrait painting of a gentleman. This painting is well done and the gentleman is well dressed and styled in an early 19th century manner. The style is that of Ammi Philipps or another of the Itinerate painters who worked in the Northeast. From an Albany, NY estate.
Condition: Good condition. Weird discoloration/residue on reverse of canvas that may indicate restoration or stabilization.
